In-house Access Springs for a New Look

Posted in Miscellaneous

Welcome to the NEW In-house Access blog! Spring is in the air, flowers are blooming; here in Washington D.C., the cherry blossoms have arrived giving the city a fresh face and In-house Access is following suit with a freshly redesign site. With the help of Lexblog, we have recently made a few changes to our design and transitioned In-house Access over to a new WordPress platform.

New platform — so what? In case you can’t readily identify some of our changes, let me highlight them for you. With the new WordPress platform, we have:

  • changed the color scheme and design to better emulate that of our online community, Member-to-Member;
  • added “Share Features/Buttons” at the bottom of each post, making it easier to share the information within your social networks;
  • added a ‘Stay Connected’ section within the left navigation, which will send you to other pages where you can continue to engage with ACC; and
  • made it much easier to share more dynamic content with you (e.g., video, images, etc.).

We are very excited to launch this new design and can’t wait to hear your feedback. So, take a look around, check out some of our new features and leave us a comment to let us know what you think about the new design!

Here’s a quick look at the cherry blossom’s here in Washington D.C. courtesy of our President & CEO Veta T. Richardson. Despite the overcast clouds, still a sight to see down at the Tidal Basin.
